At long last, there’s an OpenWeatherProvider for 16.0 at https://download.lineageos.org/extras, but I didn’t try it yet.
Edit 1 day later: It works .

We all would be happy if not, right?
Thanks for noticing, corrected.

Don’t install lineage-16.0-20190827-microG-FP2.zip, as it will not boot, because it is based on a regular LineageOS build which doesn’t boot.

Can also report LOS with microG works once more, like a breeze. Just had issue that my microSD was not recognized after boot, and device was hot. After putting it off for a while and starting it, problem went away.
In case anybody wonders … the 20190910 build is still at Security patch level 1 August 2019, so if you are on 20190908 there’s one less reason to bother.

Have you tried (Mira)cast recently?
No. I would have to go look whether I even have a device to test this with.
Edit: I’m not able to test this.
My AV receiver doesn’t do Miracast. And my Samsung TV (2010 C-Series) could perhaps do it with an additional App, but the internet is inconclusive about this, and I make it a point to not hook my TV up to the internet anyway.
As I don’t have a use case myself, I’m not motivated enough currently to get a Miracast dongle only for testing.

If you are updating to the new version of microG (2.9) via F-Droid the location services will stop working and microG starts to crash.
I hope it will soon be solved, because I cannot revert the update
You can revert to system version:
Settings -> Apps & notifications -> See all … apps -> microG Services Core -> three dot menu -> uninstall updates.
Afterwards you must configure your backends again.
I did that, but keep in mind that you also have to re-register all the apps that need GCM services! (-> by reinstalling them)
