If you are updating to the new version of microG (2.9) via F-Droid the location services will stop working and microG starts to crash.
I hope it will soon be solved, because I cannot revert the update

You can revert to system version:
Settings -> Apps & notifications -> See all … apps -> microG Services Core -> three dot menu -> uninstall updates.
Afterwards you must configure your backends again.
I did that, but keep in mind that you also have to re-register all the apps that need GCM services! (-> by reinstalling them)

Is there any new/updated drivers in the last version of FPOS/OpenOS? (19.11.02)
At least not when it was still beta … “There are no changes on the modem part.” …
https://forum.fairphone.com/t/fp2-fairphone-os-fairphone-open-19-11-1-19-11-2/55196/7?u=anotherelk
I was guessing that this could come with the modem.zip
“For fixing WiFi we mostly changed the kernel, plus some configuration that lives in the system partition. LineageOS might take over WiFi fixes from us, but this could require some bigger changes (since there are quite a few differences between the kernel we use and the LineageOS kernel).”
Thank you for the info
I don’t have access to this topic as I’m not part of the beta program

Hey people!
I dont know if that is the right thread for my question but ill try:
Has anyone here successfully enabled Private DNS (DNS over TLS) option at network settings? I tried it a few times with different DNS servers, but always get the notification “Couldn’t connect”.
Thanks in advance for your answers.
For me it work with the DNS server from Digitale Gesellschaft.
I sometimes also get Could not Connect but in my experience it was usually related to the Wifi connection.
