Hi, just switched temporarily to Aldi Talk SIM (Telefonica, O2). Update arrived immediately and installed without problems. Coming from QREL.15.15.2, Iām now relieved not to get a bricked phone. ![]()
NO. Not everyone has upgraded to Android 15 yet. Iām with Proximus and Iām still on Android 13. Version number: FP4.TP32.C.0144.20251030 !!!
Same here. I hope itās because Proximus thoroughly tests new updates. They prevented us from the catastrophic update, so better late than sorry?
Hi,
The update has fixed the Libre 3 issue Iāve been having since A15; itās been working since Thursday ā letās hope it stays that way!

@Fairphone_CM, should this resolve the problem entirely, or solely one identified cause?
I ask per at least:
Did you report your specific issue ever to Fairphone? The reboot issue fixed is rather a different one
@yvmuell, if youāre responding to me, I believe that that thread refers to the context that I provided. However, because they way they speak is so non-specific, I cannot be certain. Regardless, it doesnāt matter, because my question was not about a specific cause.
April 13 still android update for my Fairphone 4
You linked something to a Github issue report where settings of Florisboard were reset? I asked you if you informed FP about this Bug? This is not the same bug as in the topic I linked, is it? FP works on issues reported to them directly.
@yvmuell, I placed it within <details> for anyone curious, but that required that anyone interested read the report carefully. The relevant citation was issuetracker.google.com/issues/425896312#comment16, which I believe to be a reproduction of what you cited.
Iāll mention it at ZenDesk the next time that it occurs. Iād forgotten to. Thanks.
Elisa/Finland, no update. Currently on 15.15.2.
Cuatomer service for network operator says operators cannot block updates. How long is the rollout period excatly?
I have no idea how long Fairphoneās rollout is, but I would assume that by now the update should be available to everybody. Fairphone just released it slowly so they could stop it if there was some problem with it (like with one of the previous updates which bricked several phones).
Iād suggest you try a different SIM (or just temporarily disable all SIMs you might have, leaving just WiFi. Donāt forget to reboot, very important!). The point is, update detection is sometimes spotty, during the somewhat chaotic FP4 A15 rollout Iāve seen many updates I shouldnāt have seen (Orange user), and didnāt see some I should have seen, not until I toyed around with my 2 SIM cards (and rebooted after each change! Important!).
So, try to make some changes, reboot, then go to Settings/Security and have it check for system updates. It might eventually pop up. Good luck!⦠![]()
They might not block they are still involved in the process
FP4 security of march 2026 has arrived!
Yes, thatās what we are talking about here ![]()
Btw., the missing / loose of USB-Connectivity since 15.15.2 seems to be fixed too.
Apparently yes, because I upgraded directly to 15.16.1 and never experienced this issue. My phone still connects to the computer(s) just like it did in A13. ![]()
I am also still on dual Sim Fraenk and Blue/O2 on Android 13.
I am offered 15.14.3 since months which always fails and ends in a boot loop to Android 15 and then reverts to 13.
FP4.TP2V.C.0137.20250703
Any idea?
Disable tbe Fraenk SIM?
Did not help unfortunately. Maybe disable the 02 SIMā¦
Try it. (And always reboot after disabling a SIM!)
You can try also with both SIMs disabled (using WiFi).
