Same here, also coming from 15.15.2. The update also seems to have resolved an issue where I previously had to confirm multiple times that I wanted to wait for some apps to start. Thanks a lot!

I’m on FP4.TP32.C.0144.20251030

So, way behind with A13 and security patch Nov. 25.

Crossing my fingers to get the update…

That’s amazing thank you

One question @Fairphone_CM before installing coming from A13:

since colleagues had issues with the initial A15 update while having both private+work android profiles and dual sim (esim + physical) active: did you specifically test now dual sim + dual profile (private & work android profiles) within the beta group and no problems occurred with this last update?

Thanks :folded_hands:t4:

I dont remember any issue reports here? Was this ever reported to Fairphone?

Well I brought up the topic e.g. here and there were a few hints though then it seemed to be related to something else since that’s been one of this problematic updates.

I know there’s been an issue for some after the initial A15 update. They solved it moving to a single profile phone. Which isn’t an option now anymore so therefore I just want to make sure that now there isn’t a problem anymore with this set up (2 profiles + 2 sim).

I still think the issues with update 15.5.2 which caused phones to brick had nothing to do with double SIM or workprofile as it also hit people with 1 SIM. However FP never anywhere talked about the root cause and I doubt they will ever do.

For the very first time I did not need to re-root my phone after the OTA update
The procedure installing Magisk to the inactive slot worked fine this time

Same here! Lets hope they did not forget about us :crossed_fingers:

this update should be available for everyone, I added this paragraph to clarify this :backhand_index_pointing_up: @chantoine @Mark_Looman @Arne_Devriese

since it’s a staged roll out it may take a few days until you receive it.

Hi @Fairphone_CM

…except for those who volunteered their time for the beta program and are now left high and dry with an outdated version, apparently.

please clarify this in the beta group, this is nothing Lotte can influence.

Did the update. See no issues.

After update reboot I had no sim connection. But it returned after next reboot (play services update). No other issues (yet).

Background app killing doesn’t seem to be fixed, despite the fix in the recent update for fp5.

It was not included in this update for FP4.

This suggests one should even wait for the next update after this one?

Not sure exactly what you mean but I would say there is a reasonable reason to hope this will be included in future updates for FP4 :slightly_smiling_face:
