Since quite some other users I’m having problems with the battery lifetime of my Fairphone 2. Even with minimal usage the battery drains within less than a day, making the phone unusable.
I’ve recently updated to Fairphone OS 1.6.2 and made a factory data reset, but the problem remains. As you can see in the attached screenshot the battery history shows that the phone is always „awake“. For whatever reason it does never switch to idle mode.
My question to the community is: how can I find out what it is exactly that prevents my phone switching to idle mode.
I couldn’t figure out how to install the app „Wakelock Detector“ with root permisson.
Besides all the apps that come with the Fairphone OS I have only installed 4 apps (WhatsApp, 2 apps for public transport timetables and an alarm clock), so it’s unlikely that some third party apps or online services are responsible for this behaviour. Furthermore I switched off automatic updates by Google Play and the vibration when pressing keys.
