The audio quality when recording loud music gets noisy real quick, making videos of a concert is nearly impossible for instance.
This never used to be an issue on my older Android phones, so I’m wondering if there’s a change I can make to the settings to get better audio quality?
Hi, thx for the quick response! I’ll give that camera app a go, I’d already tried the default camera app and a custom Google one, so figured that it wasn’t the software.
Hi everybody,
I have been owning my FP4 since June 24 and was really enjoying it despite some problems that have occurred so far.
When recording a video at a “Once in a lifetime” concert of my favourite band, however, it turned out that the audio quality is unbelievably bad. I was really shocked to find out that I cannot listen to any of the little snippets I took, because you can hardly hear the sound of the music. All you hear is heavy rushing and crashing and croaking noises.
I am using OPEN CAMERA because the default camera on my FP stopped working properly in July 24 ( see my other post).
Just replying for posterity to confirm that changing this setting 100% fixes the issue (or at least it did for me!) I’ve had my FP4 for ~3 years and have been resigned to having basically unlistenable audio on videos from all but the quietest gigs. Changed this setting, and now back from a heavy metal gig last night and the audio on the videos I took is absolutely fine.
