I have had difficulty with getting stable connections to wifi and bluetooth, ever since my phone had fallen a few months ago. I can get a connection, but it often disconnects, or is poor quality. I had brought it to a phone repair guy, who told me the antenna (single or plural, not sure) is damaged but he would not repair it. I had a look on the forum here, and I found in 2 other posts what the wifi antenna looks like (on a FP3) ( Fixing Weak signal fairphone 3 ) and where it might be located on a FP4 ( Fairphone 4 - Where are 2G, 4G and 5G antennas? ), on the speaker module.
I looked inside my own phone, and I see no obvious major damage. Maybe one minor scratch one one antenna.
How can I get this repaired? I don’t know for sure if I am looking at the right antenna, so I don’t know what part I would replace. I’m open to either solution: get a new part that houses the antennae, or to go to a fairphone repair location that would be able to handle this issue.
So, would anyone know what part I should replace, or where I could bring my phone or send the part to have it repaired?
