Hi. This link helped for me while waiting for the best solution (disable key shortcuts to take a screenshot).
Basically, you activate the Accessibility Menu in settings and assign a gesture to it. Then you lock the phone dragging from the screen bottom with two fingers and click on lock.
If you disable the power+volume button shortcut as @urs_lesse wrote, screenshots can still be taken from the app overview (where you switch between open apps, from the square navigation button or gesture).
Happy to get rid of that screenshot feature, but how do we take screenshots, now? I mean, wouldn’t it be better to replace that combination of buttons, which made no sense, with another gesture?
With the gesture I actually see an option to do it - of course, only if the screen on display is long. Webpages, for example, work pretty well. But that extra button is not there if I take the screenshot from the carousel of windows.
For the time being I cannot remove the (annoying, yes) gesture.
Fairphone: could you not give us the option to take a screenshot with volume up + power? Pressing those two by mistake is pretty difficult, isn’t it?
After a reboot, I also got the “Capture more” button back – when the shortcut is activated. With the shortcut deactivated, the reboot does not help, “Capture more” is indeed missing.
