In a case like yours I think the best thing is to check some of the modules (bottom module in particular), if possible with the help of someone who might be able to lend modules for testing. There are a number of volunteer members of the community called “Fairphone angels” who may be able to help in just such a situation. Have a look at the map on this page and see if there’s one near you with whom you could get in touch. That’s certainly your best option right now. You can get e-mail addresses from the map. At the same time you might regularly check the Market category of the forum (I’ve adjusted the link to select offers of FP3) to see if you can’t pick up a FP3, not necessarily working, for spare parts. There seem to be some possibilities right now, either whole phone or parts sold (or sometimes given) separately.
For these transactions, you may need to send private messages (usually abbreviated to “PM” or “DM”). From what I can see, you should be able to send them, but let us know if you encounter problems.
