To start installing with english as language was the key. Afterwards I changed to the prefered language. Thanks.

It’s not possible to mark the box, how I can do It?
Welcome to the Community forum.
This is a problem that some have already reported. Most likely you have chosen a language other than English. I suggest you change back to English just for the purpose of being able to mark the box. Afterwards, just change back to the language of your choice.

How could I change back the language? I’m trying but I don’t find how to do it
Settings > System
You will need to add and then drag and drop your preferred language to position #1 there.

but in the fairphone I don’t have acess to setting or I don’t know how.
I put the sim in my old phone and changed there the language the way you said, but the language on the fairphone has not changed
Settings are accessible through the app icon. First Android phone for you?
BTW the SIM has nothing to do with this.

The phone now is in english language, but after the screen “Let contact nearby find and share whit you” I select: no, thanks, the phone screen said “Loading please wait” for an hour now.
Please, how can I solve this problem? I bought the phone because I needed it, but I didn’t know how hard is to use it, indeed

the screen “Loading please wait” it’s stuck, how can I solve this problem?
Solved by (going a step back in installation procedure and) decreasing font size. Then box and “NEXT” no longer overlap. Then you can check the box.

Thanks for the tip. I’m using a German-language system and couldn’t click the checkbox either. Switching to English fixed this. It took a while until I figured out how to switch back to German. I’m using a Samsung phone—this is my first Fairphone—so it’s all still a bit of a habit. I hope it works.

While installing the new fp6 i am stuck at the privacy page, i cannot mark the box that i have read the privacy declaration. Any ideas what to do?

In which language are you trying to install the FP6? I remember something about missing boxes in some languages. I will try to find the thread about this problem.

Hey Jan, you should install English language first. Afterword you can change to dutch. There is still a bug in the dutch language setup!
