Software update: FP5.VT28.C.042 (Android 15)

You can check if are on real or override network with an app such com.craxiom.networksurvey

I live in Belgium, and when I try to update my phone to android 15, it says that no updates are found.

Yes, that was my point. A15 requires better security than A14.

Just to be clear, can you confirm that you’re using Gesture navigation (and not 3-button)?

App is saying that NR NSA

This is a FAQ. See for e.g. the comment below even if it’s about a different phone.

My SD card that had been not working since the FP5.UT2B.B.072.20240920 update is now working again! I have always been too lazy to re-format it, but I’m happy it’s back.

This confirms my suspicion that it was a software problem.

This is the exact message where I reported that it was broken after the update: Software Update: FP5.UT2B.B.072.20240920 - #21 by RubenNL

Since the latest update, randomly my network name appears in the top left of my notification bar, just before where the time is shown.

The system setting ā€œNetwork name (Display network name in status bar)ā€ is disabled, and if I toggle the setting on and then off again the name will be removed, but then later on it just shows back up again.

I believe everything relating to the notification bar is stock software, so I don’t believe this to be caused by other apps on my phone.

Same here. FP5 Android 15, France

Since the update, my FP5 gets really warm just lying there on the table every other day or so. Is anyone else experiencing this?

After some more troubleshooting, I was finally able to remove the search bar. It required enabling and updating Google and Chrome apps and probably also setting Chrome as default browser. Weird behaviour, but after the search bar got removed, I was able to disable those apps once again.
