Thanks a lot great to see a so quickly update to patch first customers reported bugs. Hope to be able to download it soon in France (SFR/Red network)

Hopefully we get some solid information soon (as mentioned and requested a few posts above) how the update process works between Fairphone and the providers, especially Vodafone.

Glad to see I’m not alone with Red by SFR (phone in 15.84). I hope each update doesn’t take so long, the August update looks promising
As the update issues, especially with Vodafone, date back years I’m very curious about the reason behind it. On the other hand I’m not very optimistic this will be solved very soon.
I just took a look at the release notes and I was still on 15.84.0. There was another release in between (15.91.0) which I didn’t get either…and that release is now one month old!
So, today my secondary “plan” arrived, a prepaid card from O2 (was free of charge) which is not activated yet. Still, even with this inactive card in the SIM-slot I could immediately download the latest update.
Running 15.105.0 now, without issues so far! 
hm, thata sounds interesting. I am pretty sure I have some old, deactivated sim cards laying around. I will give them a try and hope for the update.

I’m on TalkMobile which uses Vodafone network and I got the update almost immediately. I have a Vodafone eSIM as well on the phone.
You are in the UK, whereas ElKrasso is in Germany.
Update availability varies with operator - country combinations, so it’s quite possible for subscribers to a network operator to get updates in one country but those in another country don’t.
Thank you so much. I had the same problem, my phone was still 2 updates behind, Poped in an old SIM from India and got the Update immediately. I Hope this Takes care of the issues.

Anyone noticed some changes in th default camera app since this update?
Last weekend I found an old o2 sim card, which is of course deactivated. Put it into the FP6 and voila - the update appears.
If I wouldn’t use Wetell (a susatinable provider in Germany, which uses the Vodafone network), I would cancel my Vodafone sim. The network coverage in my area is pretty sh!tty as well.

I find the concept of WeTell really good… but I have to say if your coverage is also bad with Vodafone, I would really consider to change networks and support sustainability through other means.
