Hello,
since switching to Android 15, I have had the following problem on my Fairphone 5: The wallpaper I selected myself changes to Fairphone’s default blue image after a few minutes. This phenomenon occurs both with the Nova Launcher I use and with the pre-installed Quickstep Launcher. Is this also the case for you? Is there a way to prevent this? I look forward to your feedback! I also submitted a request to Fairphone Support today.
Best regards

Hi,
Are you using the same wallpaper for both Lock and Home screens?
If so, it might be worth trying a different one for each screen.
Which “method” or “settings route” did you use to set the wallpaper?
Hi,
thanks for the tip! I followed your suggestion and used two different images for the home screen and lock screen, and now it works.
I set the background images via “Settings”, “Background & Style”, “Lock Screen” and “Home Screen” respectively, and then “Change Background”.
Does anyone have the issue that their background/wallpaper keeps resetting after the A15 update? It’s a tiny issue but a bit annoying. It might also have to do with Niagara Launcher, but the issue appeared since the Android update. The phone keeps going back to the blue default (?) wallpaper.
See above you are not alone whith this
I use the lean launcher and my wallpaper stays the same.
Ah, apologies. I actually searched for “wallpaper” on the forum, but with the default search settings I only got old threads. Setting it to “latest” is a lot more useful
I have the same Problem.
The described solution didnt work for me.
I noticed that unlocking my phone via the lockscreen seemed to trigger the changing of the wallpaper. Just using the fingerprint reader didnt seem to matter.
