Screwdriver types

I bought a screwdriver with my FP4 and was surprised and disappointed that it didn’t fit my wife’s FP6. Any ideas why Fairphone switched screw types between the FP4 and the FP6? Not great for sustainability if customers need to keep buying different drivers.

I don’t have a FP6, but I see that the screwdriver associated with it in the shop is a Torx rather than a Philips. I would assume that this is a result of the ease with which the heads of Philips screws can be stripped if a screwdriver slips and/or is used incorrectly, which is all but impossible to do with Torx… Hopefully, if the decision was made on that basis, it could lead to better longer-term sustainability.
