Is there any way to reflash the firmware on the buds after updating them?
I bought new fairbuds and after a lot of issues with trying to pair them to my phone I was asked to update their firmware to 65, but the uploading was stuck at 0%
and eventually stopped.
Now I am coming across a weird issue that was already reported here (TL;DR: The buds turn off exactly 5 minutes after turning them off with a loud static and shutdown jingle no matter which device I them with), but I’m really wondering if this could be related to some firmware flashing issues related to the buggy updating process (buds still don’t want to easily connect to the app, and if they do it says the firmware is update to date even though it cannot list the version number).
So, is there some way for me to manually force reflash the firmware, so I can make sure that it’s not this? Some external app for linux or windows?
PS: I have already reported this to the support, but posted here since maybe someone before had to reflash their buds.
TIA!
