Pocket-Dialing on a daily level (emergency calls)

I am experiencing, on an almost daily level, an annoying amount of pocket dialing. The screen is switched off and I normally use finger print to unlock. However, the phone tries to make emergency calls with quite a number of digits being entered while in my trouser pocket.

Android 16, patch release date June 6th, 2026.

How can I prevent this?

I’ve disabled all assistive features. Under Display Settings, these are: “Tap to Activate” and “Raise to Wake.” I’ve enabled “Pocket Mode.” Otherwise, I also had the problem (especially in the summer with looser or more airy pants) that the display would turn on and cause unintended inputs. Since I disabled all accessibility features, everything has been fine. I hope it stays that way.
