Update went well
Update available but failed to download or install
I know this one is the one people are most excited for, though I can’t say I ever ran into this issue. Good luck to everyone though!!! Hope this drama ends for those affected with this update
However pretty stocked about this one! Hope I am reading this right and it means that when I am taking a walk and listening to music, an audiobook or podcast my phone doesn’t dial an Emergency Call to a random number with every every step I take even though I put it into my pocket completely locked. That would be nice!!
( The AI doesnt know, how a Fairphone 6 looks , sorry )
Dear @Fairphone_CM and Team,
i hope this update fixes that really awkward issue, and I’m so happy to read that the update is now being rolled out for it.
I don’t want to be TOO confident in this being permanent but the update completed about 30 minutes ago and with Adaptive Brightness on the screen doesn’t go back to the absolute lowest possible setting within 3 minutes.
The Play Store offered the Fairphone Moments update to me after today’s FP6 system update had completed. The app is now on 0.1.15, too (I did not check its version number in between OS and Play Store updates).
It really depends on what sort of update it is. Any preinstalled app that would be generally downloadable for anyone (think Maps, Gmail, or depending on bloatware stuff like Facebook or Netflix will ALWAYS show. Fairphone Moments- for me - doesn’t show when looking for it directly in the Play Store, but when going into Settings > Apps > Fairphone Moments > App Details it will take me to the Google Store link for it and would allow me to Unistall it (or rather its updates) and reinstall it. This “separation” does make sense since nobody without a Fairphone 6/6+ would have any need for the Moments app.
