Hi!
Had same problem on FP5 and I can confirm that the problem was the Desktop Mode being enabled. After disabling it, multitasking works as intended.
Probably the option should stay disabled and only enable it when you need to use it.

I too confirm, disabled DesktopMode 10 days ago and since then no more problem with Recents(/Overview/“Multitasking”) Screen, thanks for find
