Keep club - Fairphone web, how to enter?

Already contacted them two days ago, but of course I did not get an answer, yet
The request ID is #1093207

…also FP4 only with stock Android, not /e/ OS…

Hello Community!

Since I’m about to buy a Fairphone 5 I wanted to take advantage of the 25 € discount via the referral program. A friend of mine sent me his referral link so I could get the discount, however everytime I’m using his link a message pops up and says “you’re not eligible to use this” or “code could not be generated, please refresh this page”.
Did anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance

Hello, I just checked on my account and after opening the link in another browser, I got a message about a discount and the discount code. So it seems it is working at least in some cases. Could you ask your friend to regenerate the link?

Thanks for the quick response. He did, but I’m still getting the same pop up message. Are there any requirements I have to meet in order to be eligible for the 25 € discount (e. g. never bought something before from Fairphone)? Would you mind sharing your referral link with me so I can check if yours is working for me?

Sure.

Just remember that in order for your friend to get keep club benefits, you need to use his link.

I am not sure what might be the rules to share such links in the forum, so I did send it to you in a private message.

Would clearing the cookies change a thing?
I am not aware of any restrictions on referral.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately it’s still not working for me. I suspect it’s because I’ve bought a Fairphone 3 a few years ago, as the website says “Give your friends €25 off on the purchase of their first Fairphone and get 250 points for each successful referral”. Judging by this it’s not my FIRST Fairphone I’m buying.

That sounds right.

I was a bit curious though as after pasting the link I received a discount code instantly and the restrictions I believe are on the actual act of purchase. Have you been able to generate a code at all?

No I couldn’t generate a code. I guess I’ll have to buy the Fairphone 5 without the discount. Thanks for your help though

Hello,

Has anyone managed to use the Keep Club’s friends referrals for discounts on Fairphone 5 or Fairbuds XL successfully? These were released on 21/11/23.

I have managed creating the discount voucher code for friends’ email addresses, but this is then rejected at the purchase point when they attempt to apply it, stating that it is an ‘Invalid or expired promo code.’

Thanks,
Lada

In the meantime - after 7 weeks - the points for my last purchase were added to my keep club account. Ticket resolved

Hm. I didn’t understand how to collect points, and I actually couldn’t find this club from main menu. Only from the link above I was led to a link where I was able to join, but then couldn’t enter any purchase there. How does it work out?

I just tried to find out where to enter the email adress to get a Keep Club referral. Maybe I am too stupid and can’t find it.

It’s relatively low at https://shop.fairphone.com/keep-club-fairphone (make sure to login with your shop account if you aren’t already), next to the photo of the three persons wearing sunglasses. There’s an URL in the grey space, with options below to send/share this URL to people who want to buy a Fairphone. You can also just copy the URL.

The Problem was the Browser. I cleared the cookies and it now works on Firefox.

Hey hey! We’ve had a small issue with the referral component on the shop, but usually you can find it here Refer a Friend | Fairphone.

The link is in the footer

I had problems with my account to add my new FP5. The solution from Fairphone support was to make a new (shop) account. This was helping. But now I have 2 accounts (with 2 e-mail addresses). They are not able to change this afterwards. The good part is that I have now a Fairphone Keep Club membership. So, I can order some (extra) parts and gets some points… But Fairphone has now 2 accounts from my side, not that so good sustainable with (extra) data stored in there cloud.

Anyone else find their Keep Club points suddenly down to 0 (zero)?

I noticed this first 1-2 days ago, maybe it’s just a server glitch. I’d like to see if it affects others as well before I contact Support.

Yep, same here, probably the glitch.
