How can the direct data transfer from iPhone 14pro to my Fairphone 6/e/OS Murena

can the direct connection via usb cable to transfer data from an iPhone 14pro to the never started Fairphone 6/e/ OS Murena work, like in the description “follow the instructions on screen” is written?

or would that brick my Fairphone’s Software?

you have a very good knowledge basis, have you ever tested to the direct usb- connection between a brand-new Fairphone 6/e/ OS Murena (never started before & no sim- card inside) to transfer data from an iPhone 14pro like described “follow the instructions on the display”; you know that wording i think, can you help me with details to don’t brick or affect my new phone? help is really appreciated! sorry 4 my bad english!

This would refer to Fairphone’s own Android OS, not the alternative /e/OS Android you chose.
Some things can and will be different with /e/OS, the missing migration step in the setup wizard seems to be one of them currently.

As you are not the first user to have asked about this (I’m including the /e/OS forum in my count), I’m pinging @Fairphone_CM, too.
Even if I guess this would be difficult to resolve from their side.
Perhaps an added paper with a small disclaimer and directions to /e/OS documentation included with /e/OS Fairphones would help for a start, if it could be added by the people who preinstall /e/OS on the phones?

thanks :folded_hands: for clarifying the description, i’m thinking that is no workaround to connect directly both devices. another question, if it’s ok to ask what have you pinged? this sounds new for me & i don’t know where i’m landing on the web & how they can or will support me in the right direction? anyway, thanks for your nice response :+1: i want to follow your suggestion to write to the support site :saluting_face:
