FP6 does not ring

I’m on e/OS and my FP6 still doesn’t ring, when my hearing aid is connected; the system update says I have the newest update 3.1.4-a15 etc. official-FP6

After 2.5 months, I gave up and will sell my fairphone 6 to the highest bidder; I bought a used Volla Quintus from Germany; I will report here how that went in quest of self-souvereignity and freedom from all evil.

It would be interesting though to know, if you plan to fix the not-ringing-phone-with-hearing-aid-bug in order for me to describe the phone correctly and fairly, when selling on Ebay, as a non-inclusive FP6, which can’t ring.

Welcome to the Fairphone community forum. I think your problem can likely only be addressed by Murena (see my post above), but you might have a look at the settings for your specific Bluetooth device (Device details). If there is a “Phone calls” option, make sure that it’s enabled. That’s just a guess, I don’t have a phone running a recent version of /e/OS.

I am not a e/OS user but I am stepping in to clarify possible misunderstandings.

From what I understood, you purchased FP6 and tried to transfer data from your Iphone to FP6 and encountered several difficulties with the transfer (some apps do not work) plus the main challenge was to connect your hearing aids and make them work.

This is the forum for Fairphone users but for software issues with e/OS it is usually recommended to look for assistance at a dedicated e/OS forum. You can also contact Murena directly for assistance.

To me, your case looks pretty specific because of a) a direct transfer from Iphone to e/OS Android can be challenging; b) connecting hearing aids has also proven challenging under specific circumstances

I can only repeat the advice already linked. Please consider asking for assistance at the dedicated Murena forum. Some useful links are given below, you can also create a new topic there.

(no, I didn’t transfer data from iPhone; it’s a zero based entry FP6 eos and it doesn’t work, so I give up at this point and try something else to maintain selfsouvereignity)
