:GB: 🇫🇷 FP5 reinstall FPOS

Bonjour, pour ma part, je regrette d’avoir choisit cet OS de Murena parce que les compatibilités ne suivent pas. Je viens d’acheter une samsung watch8 qui ne peut pas être configutré sans le galaxy wearable et celui ci ne fonctionne pas car il dit que le service google est pas à jour. J’ai pourtant mis la version Béta de e/OS du 28 juin. Et quand j’essaye de lancer fastboot pour repasser en full google, impossible de faire reconnaitre le driver de mon FP5… NB : de la part de Samsung , je trouve ça lamentable, tu peux meme pas démarrer la conf de la montre sans passer par un telephone !

Hi, for my part, I regret choosing this Murena OS because the compatibilities just don’t keep up. I just bought a Samsung Watch 8 that can’t be set up without the Galaxy Wearable, and that doesn’t work because it says the Google service isn’t up to date. Yet I installed the Beta version of e/OS from June 28. And when I try to launch fastboot to go back to full Google, it’s impossible to get my FairPhone5 driver recognized… PS: From Samsung’s side, I think that’s pathetic, you can’t even start setting up the watch without going through a phone!

With a UpToDate W11, i have tried all adb and google drivers but I still have a yellow flag on the android line.

Here’s a generic driver and ADB/Fastboot repair …

• Disconnect the phone from the computer.
• In Control Panel - Programs and Features:
  Uninstall the Android SDK (if installed) and everything with “MTP” or “ADB” in its name.
• Reboot Windows.
• In Control Panel - Device Manager:
  Enable View - Show hidden devices, and then uninstall every possible ADB, MTP and smartphone device, hidden or not.
• Reboot Windows.
• Connect the phone again. (Windows should install the necessary drivers then automatically. They can be named after a different device, this doesn’t matter.)
• Download the current Android SDK Platform Tools
• Unzip the ZIP file to e.g. C:\platform-tools (you can unzip it to wherever you like).
• Add the path to where you unzipped the tools to the Windows “PATH” environment variable, so adb and fastboot could be run from everywhere without always having to prefix them with the path.

… of course fastboot mode still needs its own drivers, installable with the phone connected to the computer in fastboot mode.

To access Control Panel in Windows 11, just search for it with the task bar search or the start menu search. To easily find Programs and Features as well as Device Manager, just change the view in Control Panel from categories to anything else (selector is top right in the window).

Ok thanks, finally, fastboot unlock is down. Now FP5 is on fastboot mode. But when i clik on the official package "flash_fp5_factory, nothing append (i have disable smart app contol on W11 and i am logged with admin user)
