FP5 not booting after update to Android 15

Hi, I had the same problem and I used the solution suggested here: put a tiny droplet of water on the on/off button

So I have gotten into a boot loop 3 times with a faulty fingerprint sensor.

My latest hack to get back in is to wet your finger just slightly when the I comes up with the green screen and press the finger to the fingerprint sensor. Booted right up for me.

YMMV - use very very little water….a tiny droplet is enough. My guess is that it’s short circuiting the fingerprint sensor check when moisture is detected.

Then update your phone. See below:
