Hey all. There seems to be a lot of hassle for people trying to figure out which accessories will work for them. Let’s make this collective wiki where anyone can share his/her findings. I’ll sketch a structure, but it might change over time if it seems insufficient. Please, fill in all fields you can when adding a new entry. This is a wiki, so everyone can edit to add experiences.

- It is there to share experience with USB-C peripherals.
- It is nothing official by Fairphone.
FP4 tested peripherals
Generally, FP4 runs Linux kernel 4.19. So if your peripheral’s specs say it needs a higher version of Linux, it most probably won’t work (or will work only partially; e.g. USB hub function should work for everything). Fairphone answered that upgrade of kernel to a higher minor or even major version is no priority for them. It might happen, but it most probably won’t.
Also, some USB-C docks use Thunderbolt protocol to connect, which is basically routing PCIe signals over the USB-C cable. Such connection is not possible with FP4. However, most Thunderbolt docks also have a USB-only connection fallback, in which they will work in a reduced setup.
