Hi all, I have an FP4 running Iodé OS v5.4 . I just want to contribute here a bit. I can find “Force Desktop Mode” option within Developer Options, not under the standard menu. And it requires rebooting after activating it.
I am trying to make video output work, too. So far I have tried with one new USB-C to HDMI cable, 1’8m long, but unluckily it has not worked for me. Maybe too long? I don’t know.
Next I’d like to try with a dock, but reading throughout this forum and Iodé forum I see it’s a bit random to find one that works, and sometimes works fine partially, or it works well only for a while ,until display starts getting unstable.
There is a wiki posted here (✏ FP4 wiki: Tested USB-C Ethernet/Audio/Display adapters and Docking stations)I with working and non working experiences, but some of the docks there are not available anymore.
Does anyone know about an updated list?
I guess I will end up risking buying something and testing it. I will report my findings.
