What products are you offering? At what price are you willing to sell or give them?

Several FP3(+) second hand but perfectly working modules, personally tested and approved (prices are for each):

  • 4 screen modules: 60-80€ depending of the condition and the presence of a protective glass (see pics in the end of this post, the 3 first ones from left to right, plus another one):
    – one at 80€ (as good as new, and including a perfectly fine, barely scratched, blue light filter protective glass worth 30€, but with a bit of dust underneath)
    – two at 70€ (very good condition, almost no scratch)
    – one at 60€ (a bit more slightly scratched)
  • 1 FP3+ rear module: 35€ (two shocks on the bottom corners but no crack and everything else is as good as new)
  • 2 FP3 rear modules:
    – one at 30€ (very good condition, a small crack but everything else is fine)
    – one at 20€ (looks good, a small crack on a corner and the lower volume button has to be pressed hard, everything else - NFC reader, antennas, fingerprint sensor - is still working very well and holding the phone correctly)
  • 3 bottom modules: 15€ (very good condition)
  • 1 green protective case : 15€ (see picture, fits very well)
  • 1 battery produced in the end of 2023 (working very well) : 10€*
  • 9 FP3 top modules: 25€ (very good condition)
  • 4 FP3+ top+ modules: 30€ (very good condition)
  • 7 FP3 speaker modules: 15€ (very good condition)
  • 10 FP3+ speaker+ modules (sound is more powerful with FP3+): 15€ (very good condition)
  • 2 FP3 back covers : 15-20€ (see pics down the end) with the white letters, in good (15€, one crack) or very good (20€) condition: showing traces or very slight traces of use.
  • 5 FP3+ back covers: 10€ (more or less scratched or with traces of use, but not broken at all)
  • modules connectors: 5€
  • set of screws: 5€
  • some more used but still functioning batteries: free price, but to send to France only, due to regulation.*
  • motherboard covers: free price

The prices are reasonably negotiable if you need + add the shipping costs (generally from 3€ to 8€, depending on the weight, country and options like tracking).

Other, remarks:

I got them from repairing old FP3(+) models. Sometimes you can’t save it but the spare pieces are in good condition.

NB: To be able to send a direct message to the user, you will need to reach trust level 1 by entering/opening at least 5 topics, reading at least 30 posts and spending a total of 10 minutes reading posts.

*Be aware, that cross-border shipment of batteries outside a phone is virtually impossible for individuals.

Hi, I would like to buy a FP3 camera module. Are either of the ones you mention still available? I prefer the +, but if you only have the regular one and I can’t find the + elsewhere then I would be prepared to buy the regular. I’m in the UK.

Hey Daniel,

I’m currently on holidays but I’ll be back Saturday 10th, just for one night, then really back on the 19th, can you wait until then? I’ll need to double check for camera modules and it’s OK for the rear module.

Hi again, Fairphone support says that changing rear module is something only their service center does. But when I read this forum changing camera module and rear module seams quite easy doing yourself? Or?

Changing the rear module is really super-easy if you have the right tool, a Torx T5 screwdriver:

If you don’t have the screwdriver, you could send your phone to my place and I would change it for you.

Hi !
I would be interested by 1 FP3+ main camera module and 1 FP3 rear module if you still have them. Just to be sure, could you confirm that the GPS is included in the rear module ? I have some issues with my GPS (not detecting my position) and I want to be sure that changing this module could resolve my problem.

Sorry that’s impossible, as, except for my testing FP3, which is not for sale, I don’t have all functioning parts for this, especially a core module.

But why would you be looking for a whole FP3? They don’t sell all the spare parts anymore (the cameras especially), and the phone would not be guaranteed…

Honestly, because I absolutely cannot justify spending €400+ on a phone, and the newer models never seem to go for any cheaper than that. Thanks for the prompt reply, though

Add the post on the market part of the forum and follow the offers posted there. It is not that rare that people offer used FP3s .
