What a bittersweet moment. :worried:

Thank you for your SUPPORT  :+1:

That’s not really necessary anymore, I’d say. Rather “Please live with any (new) issues” from now on…
Anyway, thanks for supporting this device for such a long time! The update went smooth again, no (new) issues so far.

Thanks for 7 years of support!
Update went smoothly.

  • Is there a roadmap or a plan for how long the FPs after no. 2 will be officially supported?
  • Is there an overview of mobile OSes there are?
Maybe also which run on the FP2?
Additionally, maybe which don’t inherit (?) from Android?

For a list see here #oslist

Else plans are described here

#oslist has no topic atm…

thats not correct…

When I search for it, I get a No..

why do you search when you have the link

The second did only pop up after rechoosing the search string…
And yes, I typed ”#oslist“ first, then I ”Strg+Click“ed on the link in your post (15:30).

It’s a pity that you do not support FP OS anymore. From my point of view, this is not a sustainable decision. I have the phone since 5 years and want to go longer. But no support means, that I have to think about an other solution.

Does that include installing an alternate OS ?

Well, yes of course. I am thinking about Lineage OS but I have to first to learn how to do it.

 Hopefully you have checked out
