Forgot my pattern, can't trigger the save-pin code

There are at least 3 possible points where you have to enter some authentication:

1. Only applies to encrypted phones: Encryption password set up by the user.
2. SIM PIN to unlock the SIM card to use the mobile network.
3. Method to unlock the lock screen set up by the user.

You might remember your SIM PIN, but if you didn’t use the same PIN for unlocking the lock screen, then that doesn’t help you there.

Silly mistake - forgot pattern lock - out of options?

Yesterday I set a pattern lock on my FP2 (latest standard FP OS)…and today I have forgotten the pattern. Fairly stupid. I believe my only option is to reset the phone or remember the pattern. From googling; there was a method in older android to reset a pattern through google account but thats no longer possible. USB debugging in not enabled on my phone, that rules out another option. Unlock pattern won’t work

I have just set up my new FP2 and carefully noted the unlock pattern. But when I enter it now the phone says ‘wrong pattern’. I know the pattern is correct, but now I am locked out of my phone within 10 minutes of having it. I’ve looked at other similar topics in the forum but can’t apply any of the proposed solutions. Is this fixable, does anyone know how I can unlock it please?
