I think it’s not an API problem, you can implement the app to keep the light on. It’s just that the default light function that ships with the phone has the time-out.

@Hammaskeiju, thanks! Tentatively confirmed, for ⋛ PT8M, via versionCode=30 of com.bitmavrick.lumolight, on FP5.VT2M.C.084.20260128, until what t/124216 describes killed it. Although I believe that them maintaining patches for systemui, when they’ve so many software bugs to fix, is bonkers, this is sufficient for me.
