Hi team. I have a Fp5 and it has recently been upgraded to Android 15. After upgrading, I have noticed that in Android Auto, if I try to navigate to the menu or switch to another app from the home screen or from maps, it causes the phone to reboot.
Same here. I works if I don’t touch anything. I am using it on my Goldwing using a wireless AA adapter from Motorola. When I try to enter a voice command, the FP restarts immediately.
Uh, interesting. I was looking forward to seeing how it’ll behave today when I had a shared car. It worked with only the issue that the video disappeared from time to time which seems to indicate a slight issue with the USB plug, but other than that no issues. Didn’t use the voice input though. That probably doesn’t help those who are affected, but it shows that (luckily) this is not a generic problem. And just for the record: In my case it was an Opel Corsa Electric.
I have had the same issue since the Android 15 update and Android Auto. Unfortunately, reinstalling and deleting the car from the Bluetooth settings did not resolve the issue. Whenever I attempt to switch to another app in Android Auto or use voice control, the phone restarts. This is unfortunate, as I use Android Auto frequently.

Just replying to say: I’m experiencing this too. I’d rather avoid a factory reset if I can. It’s a fair amount of effort to set my phone up exactly how I like it again
