Your Fairphone for... Locking Screen

Hello,

I recevied 2 new FP2 on different weeks (November16 and October16) and for both phones the initial text message that indicates how long you have been owning the phone is indicated wrong dates. One time indicated me that I had the phone for already 8 months, and the other time for 3 months. I ask to the techincal team but their solution was just updating the OS (I already had the most updated OS). Do you know why this text is indicating wrong dates? Does anyone else experienced this issue?

FP2 - Change date "your fairphone for" lockscreen

Hi everyone, I recently received a new FP2 since my first one was completely buggy and kept rebooting by itself. The new one is working perfectly, a real pleasure. But on this new FP, the date indicated on the lock screen for “your own this fairphone since…” is not correct. Actually the time is in the future so it’s quite weird, and of course the date is not link to when I received my first FP2. Is there a way to modify this date? Even it’s quite complicated? I know its base on the date/time…

Nothing to worry about, you recieved a new phone. The date shown is read
from the main board manufacture date - that specific component was
manufactured that amount of time ago
