WhatsApp Camera not taking Pictures

Hey there,

I’ve seen a lot of posts about WhatsApp not taking Pictures on FP5…

I also have this Problem since the First day with my FP5 and even a factory reset and all the suggested “Do’s” are not working.

It isn’t every time and some times it is just taking a few seconds to do it’s work.

Every other Camera using App is working fine.

Is there someone who could solve the mystery ?

My workaround always has been waiting or trying again and again till it works…
Taking Pictures outside WhatsApp and uploading them directly always works… but it wasn’t the same on my Samsung S20FE or my Pixles/Nexus Phones.

I had this problem on my fp4 as well, but not so far on my fp6.. Did you find a solution for your fp5?

Nope, still the same.

Answering here to bring up the attention again.
Same issue on a FP5 of a friend of mine who was enthusiast on how my FP4 works: no problem on any other app but inside Whatsapp camera is lagging and almost always unable to take even a single picture

Still it didn’t change anything.

Usually i’d bought a new Phone after 2-3 Years ( and was looking for FP6 ) but instead i’ll go for a new battery.
