What is vendor.qti.memory.pasrmanager@1.0-service and why does it use 99 % CPU Power?

My Fairphone 5 sometimes get really hot. I don’t know, when it gets hot, it seems to be random. Or at least I haven’t noticed something causing it. A reboot always fixes the issue, but it is annoying, because it also drains a lot of battery and I don’t notice it right away.

Now I caught such a moment, went to the adb shell and top says, that “vendor.qti.memory.pasrmanager@1.0-service” is running at nearly 100 % power.

Does anybody have the same issue? I’ve tried to research and found nothing.

Me too

Reboot helps, too

I found something about he PASR process:

Hello, com.qti.pasrservice looks like it is about DDR’s power usage reduction.
PASR: Partial Array Self Refresh.
Take a look here:

So it is supposed to save battery, not to waste it
