My Fairphone 5 sometimes get really hot. I don’t know, when it gets hot, it seems to be random. Or at least I haven’t noticed something causing it. A reboot always fixes the issue, but it is annoying, because it also drains a lot of battery and I don’t notice it right away.
Now I caught such a moment, went to the adb shell and top says, that “vendor.qti.memory.pasrmanager@1.0-service” is running at nearly 100 % power.
Does anybody have the same issue? I’ve tried to research and found nothing.

So it is supposed to save battery, not to waste it

I’ve seen this also. In my case cores 6 and 7 were at max, and the others at 75% frequency.
The same vendor/bin/hw/vendor.qti.power.pasrmanager was the culprit. Thanks to rkbwde for checking up on it.
I was browsing with Firefox at the time, but I don’t expect the app has anything to do with it.
Dismissing all foreground apps stopped the problem (reboot not necessary).
