My phone fell inside an extremly damp stack of tissues. As in, almost water but not. First it worked fine, only usb port deactivated. Then the screen started having issues. I rebooted the phone, first it worked well, then it shut off. I had it plugged in for three hours, then spent 4 hours coming back home and it’s dismantled (wet on the inside). Is it completely dead? Can i recover the data from it? At least the photos?
Have a look at the waterwiki Success
Yeah, too late, turned on, kept the battery (and charging) for hours… only dissasembled now
Still give it some days. You just maybe lucky.
Dismantle it as much as you can.
Have a look at the pages at Fairphone how to replace a spare part from a Fairphone 6.
I recall a treatment for wet phones was to bury in rice and with an FP in parts.
Read the waterwiki (again) why not to put the phone into rice
