Warning: don't buy at Rebuy

Hi all,

I just had a really bad experience with Rebuy and I want to share this warming with all of you.

They sell Fairphones, but they cannot guarantee you can fully open them yourself. So basically, it’s a Fairphone you cannot fix yourself.

I bought a refurbished FairPhone 3, to use the screen. Only the screen, turned out that was glued! I got a dirty phone with no way of getting the screen out. Horrible experience. And they feel it’s okay to not be able to use the separate parts. I hope they will notify future customers of this. To be warned up front. I’ve written an honest (and therefore negative) review on their website, but they wont share that on their webiste.

So, please be warned. I hope FP will start selling preloved phones!

Fairphone does sell refurbs every now and then, but I guess since their overall selling volume is pretty low in the first place, they don’t get enough returns to make it a constant offer.

There is also a market section on the forum where used phone parts are often available.

Yes I know and I have ordered now with @Antoine .
I just wanted to warn other people: please do not trust ‘Rebuy’ as they will sell you a preloved FairPhone that is all glued together…
