noticed another bug that hasn’t been reported yet. In addition to my issues with vibration when unlocking with fingerprint, displaying the network name (Klarmobil/Telekom, GMX FreePhone on eSim) when connected externally, and missing internal notifications from apps, the app drawer is malfunctioning. In the drawer, apps used are suggested in the first row. This could be prevented by touching and holding, which caused fields with “App Info” and “Do Not Suggest App” to appear. Since the Android 15 update, however, the fields disappear immediately when moving the app icon, and you can only choose to move it to the home screen. Very annoying, as I’ve deselected all apps in the first row this way, and this unnecessary display no longer appears. When touching and holding an app from the drawer, the same thing generally happens: swiping to the “App Info” display isn’t possible, only adding it to the home screen.

Purchased FP5 with Android 13 November 2023, otherwise very satisfied.

I’m sorry, but it was my mistake. You have to long-tap the icon and then tap the fields that appear. Don’t drag the icon. I remembered it differently.

With A15 the touch technique is like this:

  • Tap and hold an icon to obtain the menu.
  • Release without moving. The menu is still showing.
  • Tap the required menu item.

This is also valid for shortcuts on the home screen.
