URGENT Phone cannot charge - unusable for 2 weeks

Hi,

I’m not looking for technical troubleshooting here, but for guidance on how to get help from Fairphone support.

My phone has been unable to charge for over two weeks and is now completely out of battery, so it is unusable. I opened a support ticket more than two weeks ago (Ticket #1356218) and haven’t received any response yet.

Since the phone cannot be powered on, I’m stuck and unsure how to proceed under warranty.

If a moderator could advise on escalation, or if anyone has experience with similar delays, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

what is your phone model ?
you may have a try WireLess charger as a workaround awaiting a definitive solution…

serial number or imei are noted on the chassis, under the battery.

Perhaps a Fairphone Angel is living in your neighbourhood, who can help you.
Did you checked your USB port if any dust is stuck in the port?
Did you try other cables/chargers?

Hi,
As I always have my phone in my pocket, I must take out the dust in the usb-c port every now and then. I had tried first with a tool that didn’t work though I thought it did (don’t remember which one, but something from my ifixit kit). What works the best for me is a sewing needle. And some time, because there is always more dust than one thinks.
