Phone stopped charging yesterday and I’m driving to Scotland Saturday morning
If there’s anyone in the UK / London area with a spare USB C module for FP4 (as shipping won’t arrive in time) I’d be grateful to learn about it

on a final note, it should be possible to charge your FP4 battery using a third-party charger, for details have a look here
Thanks - I’ve tried multiple different cables so I fear it’s more the USB-c charge port than the battery (as the battery was replaced in the last year or so) I’ll try the angels
What I meant was - if all else fails, you might try charging your battery externally, or even purchase an external charger that fits.
When my FP5 stopped charging, a spare battery I had saved me a lot of trouble in terms of backup and alike. So charging did not work but the externally charged battery gave me a few extra hours.

The USB-C module shows currently as Out of Stock. Is there any idea when will it be available again?
I know that likely only the company itself knows this, but I am mostly asking if anyone has experience with a spare part you needed going out of stock, how long did it take till it returned back to stock. The USB-C port is sadly quite essential, it’s not like the camera or speaker modules which you can survive some time without, and still use the phone…
I don’t know, but would recommend to a) check again monday afternoon and if it’s still unavailable then b) use the “Notify me” option. In the past, weekends sometimes saw parts selling out, only to become available again after the weekend (they might only make a limited number available at once to avoid building a backlog of customer orders too big)
