Hello folks
I can’t get an update to Android 15 or 14 for my Fairphone 5.
I have turned off the finger sensor and the last security update I received was on July 5th.
maybe someone can help me here

The problem for FP5 update to A15 that you may have read about (long topic), occurs irrespective of whether you’re using the Fingerprint sensor or not. It occurs if the sensor is not in a working state. If your sensor functions then you’ll not be concerned by that problem.
However, there are other problems associated with that update too, so, unless you have a specific reason that’s pushing you, you might want to hold off anyway, until a new patch is published.
