I’m unable to add attachments to any emails when writing them in my Fairphone 6. The attachment link is unresponsive. I have three completely separate email accounts. The attachment link won’t work for any of them.
This is not a new issue - I don’t remember ever having sent an email with an attachment via Fairphone. I always do them on my laptop.
I’ve had my phone since September 2025.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Can anyone make any suggestions?
I am not tech-savvy.

Hello, I quite often send the attachments with my phone - FP5.
Usually pictures, so I start from the gallery app and then choose to share them.
Are you starting the process from the mail app? Are the files you want to attach on the phone or in the cloud?

Immediately after I uploaded my message, I realised my problem is due to me not allowing Firefox automatic access to photos (and therefore all my documents) in my Permissions settings. I’ve just discovered that I need to allow limited access whenever I want to send an attachment! I feel very clever - and stupid at the same time!
