TWS Earbuds outer shell breaking

Hi,

After less than 2 years my earbuds plastic outer shell started cracking and breaking around the charging contacts, resulting in the loss of the two contacts on the end of one of them. Incredibly they still charge without them!!

Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do?
I have given them quite a lot of use and possible abuse so I am not expecting my money back, just wanting to extend their life if at all possible.

I think those are not the fairbuds but the TWS Earbuds, thus I corrected the title

It’s up to you to decide if you still want to use the earbuds or replace them (or when). Just in case – some users are not aware of these spare parts:

I only replaced one earbud recently – it was not visibly damaged, but its battery life was significantly lower than the other one’s by now (I once tested and there was an 80 minute difference) and it was increasingly malfunctioning (ear sensor was getting hypersensitive and kept interrupting playback).

Put some glue on it? Maybe put some plastic straw on the contact to keep them clean.
