Two separate issues after latest couple of updates - Touchscreen and navigation buttons

My touchscreen sometimes stops working randomly. The home button still works and the issue resolves itself when I press it and then return to the program/app. It’s across different apps and not seemingly connected to any specific input. This started a couple of updates ago, but I don’t know exactly when or which update.

The last update which I installed today (2026-03-27) switched my navigation buttons around and I can’t switch them back. Others seem to be having this issue as well, but I don’t see any response or action from the FP developers? It shouldn’t be a big thing to patch.

Fairphone 6 screen glitch

I’ve reported this as a bug a few weeks back. There’s a workaround: lock the screen and unlock it again to unfreeze. Please report if this helps.

Hello. the update arrive yesterday evening here in Italy. All is ok, there is only a minor problem (for me) , in settings/gestures is not possible to invert the order of the buttons in the navigation bar. Maybe is not a FP6 problem but an android problem

I’m having the same problem. I can’t find an option to invert the button location and I’m very angry about Fairphone not having any proper customer service!
