  1. To Copy apps & data, tap Next until you’re asked to find a cable.
2.Tip:* This is usually the cable used for charging.

The above steps do not show on my fair phone so i am not able to transfer the data.

You can only do this after the first boot/setup. You need a factory reset to trigger it again, unless you are using a Google pixel…

I have reset to factory many times but it never pops up.

What do you mean by a google pixel??

It might be the wrong cable or does already before attaching a cable nothing pops-up? Can you step-by step add what screens show up and what do you select? A Google Pixel is a Phone from Google, so nothing for you to think about.

Where is this coming from?

Google own phone lineup

I have now reset the phone to factory setting.
This is wat pops up:

enterpin for sim
start
language
wifi
date and time
parental advisery
location services; both boxes ticked
navigate
install fingerprint
set pin code
synchronise murena account
and thats all

Well I guess as you use e/OS what you are looking for just dont exist?

according to the manual from fair Phone it should be this easy. just follow the steps…

Fairphone for e/OS? I doubt that. I think this is meant for Google certified phones and the e/OS documentation was linked above by @Furdiburd and it not mentioning this.

The problem probably is that on e OS, cable connections are by default restricted to charging. You can change this somewhere in the settings to data transfer and allowance to change from external device (= your computer)
