Hi, I just transferred from FP3 to FP6, made the transfer with a cable. I thought it would include everything on the SD card that I had in the FP3 as well, but turns out that it didn’t.
Does anyone know - if I just take the card from the old phone and put it in the new one, will things like downloaded podcasts (which I saved on the card) show up in the relevant app, or do I need to do something else to transfer the content from the card to the new phone?
Should be working. Sometimes you need to tweak some settings in the app.
Worked for me. Everything I had saved on SD card transferred over.
Thanks both! I was about to go for it, but am I right in understanding you can have either an SD card in the phone or a SIM, but not both??
OK, reading in the forum I see you are supposed to be able to have both. Fingers crossed it won’t get stuck or otherwise faulty, as I see it can have its issues…
Nope, it’s not reading the files on my card - it recognises there’s a card, and it sees the folders on it, but it claims all the folders are empty.
Any suggestions? (other than copying the content of the card to my computer from the old phone and then back onto the new)
Never mind, the card is now corrupt, my old phone can’t read it either 
Forgetting to unmount it before removing from my old phone probably didn’t help
