Touch is not sensitive enough

Hi, I’m using FP6+/e/, when using my phone to read something and flicking up, half the time the phone barely scrolls up. Especially when holding in a single hand and using thumb to flick up. When I apply force when doing it, it will flick up as expected.
I tried the screen on both 60Hz & 120Hz modes and there is no perceivable difference.

This is randomly distracting, and the workaround of applying more force or forcefully using a larger movement hurts my thumb when using in single-handedly.

I compared this to my old Galaxy S10e and touch is significantly better there.

I could find no reference to this anywhere here or on /e/ forums. Is this a known thing? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

There is another report related to touchscreen sensitivity here, but the problems sound a bit different to me so I’m not suggesting we merge the threads.

However, the likely solution is the same: contact official Fairphone support for malfunction under warranty. It’s certainly not normal to have to press hard to get any response. To me that sounds like a manufacturing fault.

You can use either the MyFairphone app or the support website.

In the default OS there’s a high sensitivity mode (Display->Touch Sensitivity). Not sure about /e/os. and if it has that mode.

After the update to /e/OS 3.0.4-a15 (official) it’s significantly improved for me. It’s within acceptable margin now.
I feel I should ask for the (Display->Touch Sensitivity) control on the /e/OS, for completeness.
