The sound is too loud even at minimum volume

I really like my Fairphone 6, but I find that the speaker volume for notifications and calls is much too loud, even when set to minimum.
Do you know of any solutions for lowering the volume, or should I consider placing thick tape over the speaker to muffle the sound?

Don’t know if it helps, but still an idea you might check/try out:
when tapping the sound level sliders you might even lower it a bit more than using vol+ vol- keys (as you have many small steps more then). This might even decrease the volume a little bit more?

If you don’t mind a hacky solution, you may also create custom notification and call sounds in an external program of your choice. Then make the sound file generally quieter. Obviously this would in turn make the max volume less loud.

For ringtones and notifications the volume can be lowered so far, that it is quiet enough for my needs. So no problem hhere.
But what I noticed that the media volume when listening over BT with my Skullcandy Sesh Evo earbuds is way too loud, even in lowest setting on phone and earbuds. Even so loud that I just can’t use the device right now for listening to podcasts when going to bed.
Anyone else has the issue with too loud media output?

Specifically for bluetooth, you can try “disable absolute volume” in developer settings. Reconnect the earbuds after changing the setting.

Is it correct like this?

Or shoud I disable this “disable function”?
