If you were aware and only needed a backup/restore of the state of the OS itself, you’re fine without additional measures.

Thanks for your hint. Yes, I’m aware.
And therefore I once used a hack for TWRP that also backed up my data in the internal storage but the restore failed … So I won’t use that again.
