Stuck in "Do not disturb"/silent mode

After my alarm woke me this morning, I suddenly can’t disable the “Do not disturb” setting om my phone, and can’t enable ringtones and such.
When I try to push the button, nothing happens, and it keeps to stay in “Do not disturb (only alarms)” setting.
I hope someone can help.

Hi, I had the same problem once. I also tried a lot (as reboots, clearing cache…) but finally came only out of that via the following workaround: Settings->Sound & notification->Do not disturb->Automatic rules->Add rule Added a temporary rule there so that this rule just enabled and then DISABLED “do not disturb” mode (via setting “end time” to very soon). This way “do not disturb” finally was disabled again for me.

Not for Android 6, apparently, but Android 7 is coming.

I just had the same problem, and found the workaround helpful. However, I hope there will be a more permanent fix.

I expect it to be fixed in Nougat, but we won´t know until it is available.

Hi there. I had the same problem. Doing that trick with the utomatic rules worked. And now it works fine. I erased the new rule and I switch it on the panel. Thank you!
