I just received my Nexdock and once connected can use my Fairphone quite handy (I am writing this message on the ND)
Only issue, I have no mouse pointer on screen. I connected a wireless mouse to the FP and the pointer appears on screen, but there is no way to seethe pointer on the ND screen as well.
I tried even with a cabled mouse, but that fails too. As we speak I am sing an old touch pen to d the mouses work. Less than ideal, but I can survive on this.
Has anyone any idea if there is a setting I have to hit on the phone to make it work?
This was discussed before (however cant find it right now) and fixed with version FP5.VT2I.C.072
Its related to the desktop mode setting I think it was working when disabled.
For me after it was fixed it first did not work, after I toggled the Desktop mode a second time and after a second restart its now working

Thank you for this piece of information, but this is exactly the setup I am running (see screenshot).
Is there something specific I should do?
deleted the screenshot as it contained IMEIs.
So what about desktop mode and what I wrote how it worked for me beside the OS Version FP5.VT2I.C.072?

Actually, I found out what it is. Did not solve it but I know what the real issue is.
In fact The cursor is there. If you move it around at a certain moment you will see the icons activated by something and if you click, the app will open.
I don’t know what could generate this effect though. Could it a refresh rate do this? Or maybe is it the resolution of the screen?

SOLVED: to solve this issue, please go to the display section and switch off “Desktop Mode”. Then switch it on again, and when prompted, reboot the phone.
After reboot you can see the cursor on the screen.
Yup, absolutely, can’t be faulted for not trying though, yesterday I did it twice, it did not work. Today it worked.
Go figure
