This is a staged roll out, so you may not receive it right away.

Update already available in Sweden (hallon, 3 network).

Seems it went well. 5g got enabled again. The restart took longer than other times and it feels a bit sluggish, I hope temporarily. Specially screen and typing.

Cannot confirm these issues, the device feels just as responsive as before. Then again, this is not a daily driver device and most likely much closer to factory state (just a handful of apps added) than yours – so some optimizing processes in the background might be more demanding on your FP6.

After some minutes feels normal again, so it’s temporarily while doing some background work.
But good to know I guess for others installing. Just be a bit more patient than previous patches.

Getting into Fairphone Moments via the side switch is faster. My phone had a momentary pause before goong into Moments. Now it’s a split second allowing for the animation.

After rebooting I have Google Play Store downloading a language file for each app I have installed. This isn’t a problem though it was a little bizzare. I am in the UK and have the phone set to English (United Kingdom) with all apps set to system default for language override.

June patch level has a heap of security fixes I most welcome having.

Performance was a little slow on reboot but normalises after a few minutes.

Testing the WiFi improvement although dissapointed that the IPv6 default route bug is not fixed. That needs priority attention.

Overall, so far so good.

Wifi issues are exactly the same for me. And the inconsistent status bar icons also still aren’t fixed…

Can’t see it yet, Celcomdigi in Malaysia. Also: no fix for the 2x image crop bug yet? How hard can it be? Loke honestly, can someone chime in why this isn’t being addressed?

Software support just as bad now as it was with the FP3.

Yes. I originally started that thread and I’ve been testing a dev build with this fix for a couple of weeks now. Seems to have resolved the problem.

Still waiting on the android 16 update …

Added a support ticket a couple of weeks ago with no answers.

Isn’t there a typo in the update size? It says 14MB in the post when it is 114MB…

A note:

For me, after update and reboot, WIFI Calling was disabled. So I could not be reached due to poor mobile network coverage.

Update went well, had to enable wifi calling again for one sim, the e-sim. The physical one still had it enabled.

Otherwise so far so good but only been testing for about 30 min. :slight_smile:

After the update the notification panel glitches after pulling it down all the way to show the quick settings. The glitch makes it near impossible to dismiss the notification panel by swiping up normally, the first swipe will minimize the quick settings but the second swipe up will just open quick settings again instead of hiding the notification panel.

I really don’t understand how to activate this feature:

My FP6 still completely unlocks.

Cannot find anything in the settings.

Edit: found in:

Settings/security and privacy/device unlock/face and fingerprint/skip lock screen

And it needs to be enabled, which was for me rather counterintuitive.
